Transaction

Transaction is a six-issue series about a courier job gone wrong in the middle of a chaotic wash of protests, rioting, and big business versus little people.

November 29, 1999. The calm before the storm. As protesters gather in Seattle, Dorothy Nash travels north with a package of biotech secrets stolen by a dead man from a demolished lab. The job should be simple: Deliver the package to a man named Kilian on a casual Seattle afternoon. But that afternoon will see the beginning of a police crackdown that made international news, a meeting gone sour, and a manhunt led by a team of rogue French special ops.

Transaction was written by Alexander Shearer and drawn by Seattle resident Allen Gladfelter, who witnessed the protests firsthand.
