Righteous is the story of Nanza, a young lieutenant in the armies of the great city of Avin. As our story opens, Avin is going to war, led by an emperor descended from a thousand years of divinely blessed rule.
Unfortunately, God is no longer on their side.
Now, Avin is on the defensive, its fleet is lost, its troops beaten back and traitors threaten it from within.
The empire crumbles, waiting for one righteous man to defend it, wielding a divine sword that will keep him alive long enough to get the job done. Nanza is that man.
