I drew and narrated the Pink Cat and Pink Rat stories in 1981 and 1982, relying on the patience and lettering services of my grandmother, Mary Mesnier, and my sister, Alison.

I know my inspiration for the title story, The Mystry of the Haunted Tree (that lettering and spelling is mine, by the way) was a Berenstein Bears story I read that, if I recall, involved a haunted tree of some kind.
